360 Well-being Study

Read the latest report to understand how people across the world have managed their health and adapted to the changes over the past year.

The Cigna 360 well-being study has been running since 2015, tracking the health and well-being of people across the world. Uniquely, the study records people’s physical and mental health, as well as family, financial, social and work well-being - giving an accurate understanding of people’s Whole Health.

The latest study recorded the opinions of 18,000 people across 21 markets measuring the impact of the pandemic on communities across the world, as well as tracking their aspirations for the future. This includes how people want work life to be structured, or their new priorities in terms of physical and mental health, to the future of the expat experiences, or how they want to access medical care in the future.

In the Cigna 360 Well-Being Survey, one of the longest longitudinal studies of its kind, we unsurprisingly found indices trending below what we saw pre-pandemic. There were some positive trends, with vaccine rollouts clearly having a beneficial impact compared to what we found in our most recent COVID-19 Impact Study, from December 2020.
